Hand-Welding |

The auto-welder brings together the flanges and webs with a submerged arc weld to build a completed H-section. |

In this phase, the plates, stiffeners and gussets are added. Welders use the MIG process to bring it all together to create a finished roof beam. |

MR-24® Roof Forming |

Each piece is given a SP-2 cleaning prior to painting. Butler uses an evironmentally-friendly low VOC paint to provide protection against corrosion. |

15,000 lb. rolls are stamped with a cross-flute to provide rigidity and are later roll-formed to create the shape of the panel.

Cold-Forming Process for Roof Secondaries |

As the panels make their way to the staging area, they are packaged and loaded in the same order that they need to be applied to the roof. |

10,000 lb. coils are formed into either a C- or Z-shape secondary to which MR-24 roof panels attached. |
