Auto-Welder Hand-Welding

Auto-Welder

The auto-welder brings together the flanges and webs with a submerged arc weld to build a completed H-section.

Hand-Welding

In this phase, the plates, stiffeners and gussets are added. Welders use the MIG process to bring it all together to create a finished roof beam.

Paint Room & Finishing MR-24® Roof Forming

Each piece is given a SP-2 cleaning prior to painting. Butler uses an evironmentally-friendly low VOC paint to provide protection against corrosion.

MR-24® Roof Forming

15,000 lb. rolls are stamped with a cross-flute to provide rigidity and are later roll-formed to create the shape of the panel.
